Through all this riding along with EMS, some of my photos got forwarded to the trade publications.  Public Safety Communications and JEMS have my photos featured on the covers and in articles inside.  I'm still waiting for my issue of JEMS, but PSC came today.

So I think my buddy Brian holds the record for anyone visiting me in Houston.  Except this time, we busted out to Austin then San Antonio for the weekend.  Checked out the capitol, 6th st, and UT campus.  Drove down to SA to scalp some Notre Dame tickets and hang out Nick and Mary Ellen on the riverwalk.  Good times.

After we got back to H-town, Brian decided he needed to work off all those burgers and tacos we ate.  So he went for a run, but I pulled out the lighting gear to get some sweet running shots.

Got my Windows 7 Ultimate today.  Now starts the long arduous task of getting rid of the old and busted Vista and installing the new hotness of Win7.  Sweet.  Thanks to Doug's extended family for the hookup.

So at the behest of Douglas, I'm posting the hot images that won.   Doug beat me this year, but it was close, I pulled in $110.  Almost covered the cost to print and frame all the images.  LOL.

Came up with this idea while chatting with a friend about his problems with a limited number of triggers.  Who new cheap headphone splitters would work with Alien Bees wireless flash triggers.  Check out the proof.

Decided to try out a shot I had seen on the internet a while back.  But since I've been riding with EMS lately, I figured I would use their logo.  Turned out pretty cool.  All you need a little olive oil, a logo printed in reverse and a strobe right above it.  I even used E-TTL.  Easy peasy.

On the way back from the hot air balloons, I decided to see what a drive by night shot of downtown Houston would look like at 60mph.  Not bad if you convert to black and white.
